Property Tax Reimbursement

OFFICE OF THE TAX ASSESSOR

The Tax Assessment office has part time hours and is open Mondays from 5PM -  8PM by appointment only.

Responsibilities
The Tax Assessment office is responsible for:

  • identifying, listing, and  assessing value to all real property within the Township,
  • maintenance to ownership records for property within the Township,
  • answers to general questions regarding property ownership, assessment and sales information,
  • 200 Foot Property Owners List as required by the Municipal Planning Board,
  • processing applications for the Senior Citizen and Veteran's Deductions,
  • access to the Municipal Tax Maps,
  • access to the Municipal Tax Lists,
  • access to SR-1As, current sales information within the Township.  

Morris County Board of Taxation
Assessment data, sales data, tax maps and GIS data can be searched through the Morris County Board of Taxation at Tax Board.

Tax Forms
Tax forms for deductions, exemptions, farmland status and tax appeals are prescribed by the Director of the Division of Taxation and can be viewed on the Municipal Forms and Permits web-page or by going directly to the the State of New Jersey Department of the Treasury Local Property Tax Forms page .
