Township Committee authorizes road open permit to New Jersey Natural Gas Company
to extend natural gas services mains to Oak Hills
At its regular monthly meeting on November 12, 2024, the Township Committee granted a road opening permit to New Jersey Natural Gas Company (NJNG) to extend natural gas services mains to the
Oak Hills neighborhood. This is one of the largest extension of natural gas service in the Township in many years. The construction is authorized to begin on or about December 1, 2024.
NJNG will be contacting residents with more information regarding individual service connections as well as incentives and rebate information.
In October, the Township Committee authorized road opening permit for Wiltshire Drive and Bristol Ridge and that work is scheduled to begin shortly.
The Township is awaiting permit requests for service main extensions in Miller Drive, Decker Lane and Twin Hills Drive which are slated for Spring 2025.
