It's not too late to Join the Boonton Township Green Team and go meatless one day/week #meatlessmondays in March. Skipping meat one day a week is good for you, great for your nation’s health, and better for the planet. The Boonton Township Green Team is launching March Meatless Mondays for all the right reasons. Recipes available on the website.  AND if Mondays are not the best day to skip meat, take the pledge and do it any other one day of the week.

Greens help you go green! Eating less meat helps contribute to reducing greenhouse emissions from production and transportation of livestock. It also cuts back on livestock water-use, which is significantly higher than it is for produce.

PARTICIPATION IN GREEN TEAM CHALLENGES SUCH AS THIS HELPS THE TOWNSHIP MAINTIAN ITS SUSTAINABLE JERSEY CERTIFICATION WHICH MAKES IT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR GRANT FUNDING.

COMMUNITY VOICE SURVEY

LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD MEN

We have had a good response to the survey...but it has been primarily women responding.  Men your voice is important too.  Please take a moment to complete the survey.

The Boonton Township Municipal Alliance Committee and Green Team are excited to partner with the North Jersey Health Collaborative (NJHC) to provide you with the opportunity to share what health looks like in your neighborhood!

The NJHC is a group of more than 150 organizations working together to create healthy communities and healthy people. Every three years, the NJHC tries to figure out what topics to focus on to improve health across northern New Jersey.

To make sure we’re choosing the topics that really matter, we’re asking YOU to share your opinions and experiences.

The survey is easy to complete and it takes less than 15 minutes! Your answers are completely confidential and it’s up to you whether or not you want to share your voice.

By completing the survey, you can also enter for a chance to win $100 or the grand prize…a football signed by the New York Jets!

You can complete the survey online using this link or you can request a hard copy.

The survey is available in English, Spanish, and Arabic.

0 The Rockaway Valley Garden Club generally meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Meetings begin at 10:00 am and are held at the Boonton Township Municipal Building, 155 Powerville Rd. Guests are always welcome and we encourage you to join us to see what we are about.
