2020 ELECTION UPDATE
Governor Murphy's Executive Order prohibits in-person machine voting for most voters on General Election Day.
A limited number of polling places are available to voters on Election Day where only provisional paper ballots will be available to cast your vote.
Voters also have the option of delivering your own completed Vote-by-Mail ballot to your polling place on General Election Day.
The location of the Boonton Township polling place is at the Municipal Building located at 155 Powerville Road.
Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
If a voter has a disability and needs an accessible ballot, he/she may call the County Clerk’s Office
or may go to his/her assigned polling place which will provide access to an in-person accessible voting device on Election Day.
General Election sample ballots can be found at https://morriscountyclerk.org/index.php/elections/sample-ballots/.
A sample ballot will be posted at each polling place. Sample ballots will not be mailed out.
Voters are encouraged to vote and return their ballot to the Morris County Board of Elections in the postage paid envelope as soon as possible. Ballots
returned by mail must be postmarked no later than 8:00 p.m. on November 3, 2020.
Ballots may also be placed in one of the secure Election Ballot Drop Boxes located throughout the County. The locations of Morris County’s Election Ballot Drop Boxes can be found below and at https://elections.morriscountynj.gov/ways-to-vote/.
The deadline for placing your ballot in one of the secure Election Ballot Drop Boxes or for delivering
your ballot in-person to the Morris County Board of Elections is 8:00 p.m. on November 3, 2020.
In addition, ballots may be returned in person to the Morris County Board of Elections Office at 10 Court St., 2nd Floor, Morristown, NJ 07960.
