The Boonton Township Office of Emergency Management is a department within the Township that is charged with protecting life and property through effectively managing any emergency or disaster. Knowing beforehand what to do, where to go and how to get there is important.

The mission of the Office of Emergency Management is to maintain a high level of preparedness, to protect the community; to mitigate loss of life and vital assets prior to, during, and immediate aftermath of a disaster; and to facilitate the speedy recovery of the Township in the mid and long-term intervals following a disaster.
